The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you are looking for a robotic vacuum and mop that's mid-range. It provides a fantastic mopping experience but lacks the advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.

During testing it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats from medium-pile carpets. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to help you map your home.

1. iRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It comes with a variety of features and incredible cleaning power, including the dirt compartment built into the base of charging. This robot can recognize your habits of cleaning, and suggest automated schedules to give you an effortless cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once the system is set up it can begin automated cleaning with a single button. You can opt for an overall clean that focuses on cleaning up larger debris like cereal and rice, or opt for two thorough maps of your space to ensure your entire home gets a proper look.

This robot vacuum is effective on both floors with no carpet and carpets with a low pile. It can pick up pet hair and clean big objects up. It doesn't lose suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It does have a hard time with high-pile or plush carpet, but iRobot promises it will improve with future models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which concentrates on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that has a flat-fronted D-shaped design. The company hopes this will allow it to fit into furniture and walls. It's a nice change from the traditional hockey puck shape of most robovacs, though we found it to be incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ has an advanced filtering system that blocks tiny dust particles and allergens from recirculating within your home. It's a nice claim however, we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the premium price tag.

Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to remember the layout of your home and vSLAM to map your interior of your home. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles like stairs and other barriers and to clean up your entire house in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundaries so that the robot knows which areas need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it comes to robots that combine mopping and vacuuming the Roborock Q Revo is a standout. Its vacuum settings are as efficient as those found on higher-end models, and its mopping system is better still--its spinning pads do a more impressive job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

The only issue is the lack of a second brush to allow for more thorough cleaning. However, that's not a major issue if you want to own one of the best robots on the market. The dust tank of the robo-vac is larger than many of its competitors, and filling it up only takes two or three cycles even when you have maximum dirt.

For the mopping device, I was awestruck with its ability to remove hard-to-clean dirt from my floors. The two mopping modes that it has, which are less aggressive than the higher-powered ones produce minimal noise, allowing you to work or even watch TV without distraction. If it encounters the wall or a furniture piece it gently smacks into it and moves on.

What makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost completely autonomously, requiring only a little for human intervention. The dock of the robo-vac has multiple functions and can automatically transfer trash into a hidden bin. It also cleans and dries the clean water tank. The app is good at nagging you only when something requires attention, such as the water tank that is running out of clean or a scheduled cleaning session having been canceled due to a full dust bin.

You can also create or combine rooms to alter the way Q Revo manages your home. This is an excellent feature for those who have multiple areas of the home with different floor materials or if there's clutter that needs to be cleaned out regularly, such as clothes, toys and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was among the top performers during my tests, taking debris from both carpets and hardwood floors in the first attempt. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I suggest drying them with a towel before sending it into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo with all the features you can wish for. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum that has powerful suction that cleans carpet and hard floors, as well as an omni-rotating mop that scrubs tough staining. It also has an auto-cleaning station that automatically cleans and empty the mop pads to keep them fresh and ready for reuse. It also has a sensor system that recognizes obstacles better which allows it to avoid falling onto furniture and other objects.

The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS The X1 Deebot is the sleeker, more modern design. This is thanks to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still large--it has a height of more than two feet height and depth and weighs nearly four pounds. However, the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot J7.

This version is also more efficient than the X1 one, because it has faster battery charging and can handle a complete cleaning of around 1,500 square feet in one charge. And it has a larger dustbin that is more durable and can hold more debris and is easier to empty when needed.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant and an app that can be used even if you are not at home. It also comes with a smart routing feature best self emptying robot vacuum that lets it clean specific rooms or areas of your home, instead of following a predetermined path.

The X2 Omni is the most effective robot for mopping. Its mop pads rotating remove tough stains and its motor produces lots of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is also top-notch, and it boosts suction when it senses a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It is equipped with a large, rechargeable battery that lasts up to one week. The mopping feature of the robot is also powerful.

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a premium mop and vacuum robot that comes with a host of convenience features you don't often see on robots in this price range. It is able to build precise floor maps, recognize different flooring types and is one of the few robots that automatically wash and dry the mop pads. But while these functions are useful however, they also push the L10s Ultra into the category of luxury, which might make it a little more expensive than some homeowners need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It is slim and tall, with a white finish, accentuated by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a large bumper that helps protect furniture and vacuum cleaners from damage when moving around the home. In the pane in the front is an additional navigation technology that is comprised of sensors that aid the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the screen, you'll find one button that serves as the on/off switch. This button will activate the vacuum. Clicking it again will turn it off and send it to its base station. The left and right buttons will open the settings of the app where you can customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map out your home. This allows the robot to clean and mop efficiently, without getting stuck. The LIDAR also lets the robot vacuum to recognize and avoid obstacles, which is a nice feature for households with children or pets.

The L10s Ultra has a solid vacuuming capability, clearing 98.4 percent of the debris from our hardwood floor test and getting rid of all but the most difficult juice stain.
